‘A Gentleman’s Dignity’, Kim Ha Neul, Waterworks as She Meets Biological Mother
Kim Ha Neul met her biological mother Cha Hwa Yeon.
On July 15th's episode of 'A Gentleman's Dignity', Seo Yi Soo (Kim Ha Neul) receives a phone call from her mother.
While eating with Kim Do Jin, Seo Yi Soo receives a phone call and stands up from the table. The person on the other line is none other than her biological mother.
When they met, Yi Soo's mother says, "Why didn't you pick up my calls? I know you and I aren't in a position to catch up with each other, so I will just get on with my objective."
Seo Yi Soo angrily replies, "What is your objective? Why are you calling me and trying to meet me? Why are you bothering me?" Her mother then explains the situation she is in. "Isn't it obvious? I'm currently fighting with my step-sons over my husband's inheritance. They plan to use you to ward me off."
Seo Yi Soo says, "I don't care about your life. I haven't had a mother since I was 12 years old." Her mother responds, "I was trying to fix my life for your sake as well, but it hasn't been as easy as I planned," with a blank expression on her face.
She continues, "What they really want is for me to get divorced, not the inheritance. So please don't interact with them." Seo Yi Soo begins to shed tears witnessing the coldness of her mother.
