After weeks of suffering from a severe form of morning sickness, which meant that she had to cancel her scheduled appearances, the Duchess of Cambridge is back! And in true Kate Middleton fashion, she has stepped out in style for an event last Tuesday, October 21 in London.

The Duchess of Cambridge graced the 2014 Wildlife Photographer of The Year Awards ceremony which was held at London's National History Museum. The duchess was there to celebrate these wildlife photographers whose work are able to capture the "abundance, beauty, resilience, and vulnerability of life on Earth." And the Duchess did not disappoint in the Kate Middleton fashion department. She wore a stunning, and slightly "daring" (by duchess standards) baby blue dress.

This Kate Middleton fashion statement dress is by one of her favorite, go-to designers, Jenny Packham. And this was not her first great fashion moment after her bout of morning sickness. Earlier that day, Kate accompanied Prince William to welcome the Singaporean president Tony Tan Keng, and his wife Mary Chee Bee Kiang at the Royal Grand Hotel for the dignitary's official state visit. Reportedly, the duchess even joked with the president of Singapore that she had been very much looking forward to "getting out of the house."

For this dignified affair, the 32 year old royal went with a more understated look. Kate Middleton's fashion choice that morning was a gray Alexande McQueen coat, and a dignified looking Jane Taylor hat. Kate Middleton is around 12 to 14 weeks pregnant with her second child. Just recently, Kensington Palace issued an official statement about the due date of Kate and William's second baby: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015. The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemesis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving."
