Recently, the 24 year old revealed in an interview with Esquire magazine that she is the victim of death threats and other such horrifying intimidation!

"Because just the sheer number of men we have in a file who have showed up at my house, showed up at my mom's house, threatened to either kill me, kidnap me, or marry me," Taylor shared  This is the strange and sad part of my life that I try not to think about. I try to be lighthearted about it, because I don't ever want to be scared. I don't want to be walking down the street scared. And when I have security, I don't have to be scared." 

In any case, this has not stopped the pop star from opening her home to hundreds of her fans for private "listening parties" that she hosts. One of the most endearing Taylor Swift news of 2014 was when the Grammy winning pop star reportedly invited several fans to an event she dubbed  #1989SecretSessions event. Every single fan present at that special occassion were able to hear the songs on the new album 1989 ahead of its October 27 release date.

Earlier in September, another golden piece of Taylor Swift 2014 new was that she held a pizza and pumpkin chocolate chip listening party for her devoted fans! Needless to say, fans were over the moon at the chance to spend time with their favorite pop icon.

"You can put today down as the greatest day of my life," one fan wrote on Instagram. Let's just hope the singer doesn't mistakenly invite one of her stalkers to her private listening parties!
