JYP’s First Movie ‘A Millionaire on the Run’ Meets Batman at the Box Office and Starts Off in 4th Place

According to the Korean Film Commission, the movie 'A Millionaire on the Run' (directed by Kim Ik Ro) attracted an audience of 15,354 viewers in a total of 331 movie theaters on the 19^th of July, with an accumulated number of viewers of 15,854 viewers, making it 4^th place in the box office.

'A Millionaire on the Run,' which premiered on the same day as the Batman movie directed by Christopher Nolan, 'Dark Knight Rises,' is attracting much attention from the general public. However, with 'The Amazing Spider-Man,' 'Deranged,' 'Dark Knight Rises,' and the upcoming movie 'The Thieves,' it is expected that there be a fierce competition in the box office.

At the same time, 'Dark Knight Rises' (total viewers of 44,996) achieved 1^st place, 'Deranged' (3,677,984 viewers) 2^nd place, 'Amazing Spider-Man' (4,589,882 viewers) 3^rd place, and 'Two Moons' (339,190 viewers) 5^th place.

'A Millionaire on the Run' is a comedy about Yeong-In (played by Park Jin Young), who has been given $5,000,000 by his boss to take care of and to transport. However, he finds out the conspiracy that his boss is actually planning to kill him to steal back the money.
