Taylor Swift's '1989'leak dominated online a few days before her pop album was scheduled for release in stores.

E! Online reported that days before the singer's new album hits stores on October 27,  Taylor Swift's '1989'leaked as her song "Blank Space" made its way on You Tube, before the album was even officially released. Taylor's label, Big Machine Records, blocked the online leak in a span of a few hours.

New York Magazine reported via E! Online that Taylor Swift's '1989' leak was likely to have originated from Target. There was considerable evidence to believe that 19 of the songs from the said album was exclusively meant for a Target special album edition release.

Online magazine Vulture, though, through E! Online has blamed France as the location where the leak possibly originated.

Vulture's Lindsey Weber wrote:

"If you downloaded the original leak, you'll see that song titles are missing and in their place there are a slew of numbered 'pistes.'"

Lindsey explained that 'piste' is a French word meaning 'track', E! Online further reported. '1989' was also visibly marked on ITunes as '"Album inconnu" or in English, "unknown album."

'1989' has also leaked in Tumblr under an anonymous name. Anybody who has knowledge of the password for it in Tumblr can access the leaked version of the album, according to E! Online.

Taylor's loyal fans stand by their firm decision to await the formal release of the singer's album in stores on October 27, instead of accessing her new music earlier in leaked versions.
