Jennifer Lawrence is now single again! It's just been confirmed that the Oscar award winning actress is no longer in a relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. This news of the Jennifer Lawrence Chris Martin split was just confirmed by a source of People magazine.

According to the insider from People magazine, "Jen is the one who broke it off with Chris." Although the two never officially confirmed their relationship, there have been reports that they have been spotted together on romantic dates. The actress was even spotted leaving Chris Martin's Malibu beach house on several occasions.

The Mockingjay actress was even spotted attending Coldplay concerts in support of the 37 year old singer. But now, without ever being officially photographed together, comes the news of the Jennifer Lawrence Chris Martin split.

It was first reported that the actress and the singer were dating last August. It was just around the time that it was confirmed that Jen had broken up with her on and off again boyfriend Nicholas Hoult (X-Men, About A Boy). There were unconfirmed rumors however, that the two had started dating as early as July.

The last time that the Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin supposedly hung out was on October 21. This was a couple of days after Chris Martin had what was dubbed as a "friendly dinner" with his ex, actress and Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow. Gwyneth and Chris have two kids together.

It was earlier this month, before the news of Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin split that the actress' Vanity Fair magazine interview came out. In the feature articles, the actress shared what traits she finds ideal in a guy. She shared that she would like to be with someone who "isn't afraid to fart in front of me [rather] than to have big, passionate love. I'd rather have just a peaceful time. [Those relationships] are deeper because you can be your true self with somebody, and somebody can be their true self with you."
