Actor Cha Tae Hyun’s Effect: ‘Win Win’ Rises in Viewer Ratings and Beats ‘Strong Heart’
KBS variety program 'Win Win' has beat SBS variety show 'Strong Heart,' which airs on the same time slot, in viewer ratings and has taken first place. This is the "Cha Tae Hyun effect." The 2.2% rise in viewer ratings has moved the victory from 'Strong Heart' to 'Win Win.'
On the 25th of July, AGB Neilson Media Research revealed that the episode of 'Win Win' that was aired on the 24th of July achieved a record viewer rating of 10.4%. It showed a 2.2% rise in viewer ratings from the 8.2% it had achieved for last week's episode.
On the other hand, 'Strong Heart' had achieved a 9.0% viewer rating. Ironically, 'Strong Heart' had also reduced 2.2% in viewer ratings. It seems as if 'Win Win' had stolen their viewers for that day.
