Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has plenty going for her these days. Her music career has taken off with her new album Heatstrings just recently launched. She's also quite recently starred in the Broadway revival of Of Mice And Men alongside other stellar talents such as actors James Franco and Chris O'Dowd. But in a recent interview, the 28 year old revealed that she might be slowing things down to finally start a family? Leighton Meester and Adam Brody might be becoming parents sooner than we think!
The "Somebody To Love" singer recently did the cover for Nylon magazine's November 2014 edition, and she talked about her life during her popular turn in the teen drama Gossip Girl, and the most recent Leighton Meester and Adam Brody project. It will be recalled that Leighton Meester shot to stardom playing teenage New York socialite Blair Waldorf on TV's Gossip Girl. Leighton reflects that she was ready to move on from the show, but still thankful for the wonderful experience it was for her. "I started the show when I was so young, and once it was over, I wanted to do things that were exciting and challenging and more me-more my adult taste," Leighton shared. "Of course, that's said with nothing but gratitude and love for that experience in that time of my life."
Leighton also came into the limelight for details surrounding her personal life. When Leighton Meester and Adam Brody dating rumors surfaced, the pair kept it private -- right up until their engagement and wedding. In fact, the Gossip Girl star and The OC actor pulled a fast one on Hollywood when they got engaged near the end of 2013 and got hitched in a secret wedding in February 2014.
Now Leighton Meester and Adam Brody might be getting ready to be parents! "Most people I know are starting to get married," Leighton said. "It'll be kids next. I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I've got dogs." Looks like Leighton is ready for the big jump into the next season in her life as a mom!
