'American Idol' season 14 auditions had just ended but their journey to stardom has barely even begun yet. Those who got the coveted golden ticket will be off to Hollywood only for their talent and resolve to be test.

Just like what the teaser said, this show transforms completely unknown individuals into superstars. It's no wonder that thousands of hopefuls line up at dawn for a chance to sing in front of Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr. and Keith Urban.

The judges listened to possible 'American Idol' winners while Ryan Seacrest talked to nervous individuals in the waiting room.

Auditions took place in Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York, San Francisco, Nashville, Kansas and other places all over the US.

Some came out of the judge's room gripping onto their tickets to Hollywood while others weren't so lucky. Some are first timers while others have become familiar faces, returning for a second or third shot at stardom.
