For design and display, All three iPhones have Retina displays, but iPhone 4S’s screen is of 3.5 inches and supports a resolution of 960x640 pixels and 326ppi. It measures 115.2×58.6×9.3 mm and it weighs 140 grams.
The iPhone 5S on the other hand has a 4 inches display with a resolution of 640x1136pixels and 326ppi. Its dimensions are 123.8×58.6×7.6 mm and weighs 112 grams.
The iphone 5C has a 4 inches screen which has the same resolution as the 5S, but It is 20 grams heavier thanits counterpart and its dimensions are 124.4×59.2x9 mm.
In terms of hardware and OS, the iPhone is still one of the most powerful mid-ranged smartphones in the market. It’s powered by a Dual-Core 1GHZ Cortex-A9 processor and has an Apple A5 chipset, a PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU and 512MB of RAM. This model came loaded with iOS 5, but it’s upgradeable to the iOS 7.1 version.

For battery usage and camera specs, all three iPhones are equipped with a non-removable Li-Po batteries, but of different capacities. The iPhone 4S has a 1432mAh battery (allows up to 8hours of talk time on 3G), the iPhone 5S has a 1560mAh battery (10hours on 3G) and finally, the iPhone 5C has a 1510mAh battery (10hours on 3G).
They also have an 8MP rear camera with features such as a Sapphire crystal lens cover, Five-element lens, LED flash, Backside illumination sensor, Tap to focus, Hybrid IR filter, Autofocus, Panorama, Face detection and Photo geotagging. In addition, the iPhone 5S’s camera is with 1.5µ pixels and has an extra feature: Burst mode and all three cameras record 1080@30 fps HD videos.
The iPhone 4S 16GB of internal memory costs $390 on amazon.com, while the iPhone 5S 16GB variant is $ 675 and the iPhone 5C 16GB variant cost around $505.
