Warning to all those who have not seen The Walking Dead's latest episode, if you don't want to find out what happened in The Walking Dead season 5 episode 4, then stop reading! Otherwise, go on ahead and read all the spoilers and behind the scenes details from the latest episode which revealed shockers of The Walking Dead's Beth Greene.

What the show actually did was to finally make known where and just what happened to Beth Greene, who in the show is played by Emily Kinney. We find out that Beth has transformed. Not into a walker, mind you, but from a helpless young teenager into a woman warrior who is able to defend herself. All the while she was trapped at the Terminus, only to be set free by the hospital staff who are still in effect holding her hostage. The hospital, which is being run by Dawn (Christine Woods) who "rescues" people but keeps them effectively as prison workers who work for food and shelter.

We find out that The Walking Dead's Beth Greene actually gets her chance to escape from the prison hospital, but gives up her chance when all of a sudden Carol (Melissa McBride) is wheeled in unconscious, which prompts Beth to stay.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress who plays Beth Greene, Emily Kinney dishes on this episode's details and spoilers! In talking about how Beth has changed so much, Emily shares that the episode reveals her characters changed attitude. "By the end of the episode you see her smile when Noah runs away. In that moment, there's that sense that she can take care of herself and has her own power," Emily relates. "Even though she's captured at the end and in the same place, she's definitely not in the same place emotionally."

About how her character, The Walking Dead's Beth Greene reacts to seeing Carol, this is what Emily had to say, "Just seeing her in that last moment of the episode snaps Beth out of where she was at," she explains. "Seeing Carol flips this switch inside her, 'Oh maybe the plan cab be something different; maybe it's not just me depending on me. Maybe my family is closer than I thought'."
