Baek Sung Hyun “Suzy Is A Great Younger Girl...I Think She Will Succeed As An Actress”

Actor Baek Sung Hyun(23) spoke about 'The First Love Icon,' Suzy. He stated, "She really is a great younger girl."

Baek Sung Hyun recently was on KBS 2TV Monday Tuesday drama, 'Big' as Gil Choong Shik who likes Jang Mari. He received love with his 'collection of ignorant sayings' and 'slightly dumb' character that only likes one girl. 

After the first time he worked with Suzy, "After I heard my partner role was Suzy, I decided to join," and laughed. He stated it was a joke and said, "I wanted to try a character I never tried." he also showed that he anticipated working with Suzy. He added, "I really think Suzy is a great younger girl. She is nice and works hard, and that looks pretty. Her way of expressing is straightforward, and that left an impression on me."

She debuted with the drama, 'Dream high' and was labeled as the first love icon after she was in the movie 'Architecture 101.' She was able to naturally escape the movie's performance, 'acting controversy.' 

In the drama 'Big,' she took on the role of the reckless Jang Mari and people said, "Her acting is better."

He added, "Personally, I think the 'Acting controversy' label is unfair. She is still 19. Depending on the day's condition and set's mood, it will change, but I think Suzy will succeed as an actress in the future. Recently I met her on 'Invincible Youth 2.' Different from acting, she was taking charge in that scene. I think it would be good if she acted like she treats entertainment."

Meanwhile, he said in reality, he focuses on liking one girl, like he did in this drama. He said, "I think I'm similar to Choong Shik, because I confess that I like someone when I start to like them. Different from him though, I open up my heart to someone I've known for a while, not love at first sight."
