Twenty K-Celebs Play One Role In 'Beauty Inside'

There are only a few characters in the upcoming k-movie "Beauty Inside" but at least 20 actors have signed up to play one of those parts.

"Beauty Inside" is the story of Woo Jin, a lonely man who wakes up as a different person every day. And that means a different actor or actress will play him every time he wakes up. Some days he wakes up as a man and some days he is a woman. Some days he is old and on other days he is young. Sometimes he is a foreigner and finds it hard to communicate with the people around him. Looking at a different face in the mirror every morning is hard to get used to.

But once Woo Jin gets over the shock of his transformations, he tries to figure out how to get back into his own body. It is the only way he can reunite with the woman he loves.  Getting back into his own body is not easy. Every body he lands in has its own set of distracting problems and needs. And in a very quirky "Secret Garden" twist, one day Woo Jin even wakes up in the body of Lee Soo, the woman he loves. 

Han Hyo Joo plays Lee Soo and the "Brilliant Legacy" star also plays Woo Jin man when he inhabits her body. So, to get the math straight, Han Hyo Joo has two roles in this film. But 20 actors will play Woo Jin. And they range from rookies to veteran actors.

Those playing Woo Jin include Kim Dae Myung, Doh Ji Han, Jeon Young Woon, Park Shin Hye, Lee Bum So, Park Seo Joon, Kim Sang Ho, Cheon Woo Hwa, Lee Jae Joon, Hong Da Mi, Jo Dal Hwan, Lee Jin Wook, Kim Min Jae, Seo Kang Joon, Kim Woo Jin, Kim Hee Won, Lee Dong Wook, Goh Ah Sung, Lee Seung Chan, Kim Joo Hyuk and Yoo Yeon Suk.

And those are not the only actors in the film as other actors have signed on to play minor roles.

The film asks the questions, "What is love?" and what is it you love about a person? Would you love them if they were in another body? If nothing else, it should be interesting to see so many actors tackle the same role.

Baek Jong Yeol, who has primarily directed commercials and music videos, will direct "Beauty Inside." The movie is set to start filming in November.
