But it looks like even if has had her fair share of heartbreak, Britney Spears is still game for love. In fact, news has come out today that a new Britney Spears boyfriend has been confirmed!   

According to reports, the "Hit Me Baby One More Time" singer is dating a new guy -- Charlie Ebersol. For those not in the know, Britney Spears new boyfriend is a writer and producer. He is also the son of the creator of Saturday Night Live, Dick Ebersol. E! News broke this story with insider reports from their source. "They met through friends," the source reportedly stated. "He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another. They are both very happy and having fun. It's just the beginning so no idea if it will become serious but right now they are having a lot of fun together."

It will be recalled that the pop star just went through a break up with her former boyfriend David Lucado just two months ago. The pair had been dating for more than a year when Britney confirmed very publicly that the two have called it quits.

During her Piece Of Me concert in Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Report and Casino, Britney announced her break-up onstage. "Well by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me," the singer reportedly said. "But the best part of breaking up is going on first dates!" And now Britney Spears' boyfriend Charlie Ebersol has reportedly gladly taken on the 32 year old singer on a string of romantic dates.

For his part, Britney's ex, David Lucado has denied the cheating allegations and has told his friends that they were on a break during that time. He also said Britney wanted a break from their relationship, and informed him via  a text message that went, "I'm done with you."
