Girl group T-ARA's So Yeon attempted her first time acting after the group's scandal.

So Yeon started acting for the first time on KBS 2TV new Monday Tuesday drama 'Haeundae Lovers' that aired on the 6th.

So Yeon played the role of Lee Kwan Soon who is a trouble maker. She was a rebel and stole her father's credit card from Busan and went to Seoul. While working at the Seoul's Caribbean Night, she met Go So Ra who came up from Busan.

Kwan Soon spilled alcohol while serving and had to owe them $1,000. She said that she would compensate for the cost, but was shocked with how much she had to owe. She said she would compensate with a show. With Kwan Soon's fake crying, she made So Ra join the show and was labeled as a trouble maker.

So Yeon only appeared for a short time. However, her speaking tactics and facial expressions did not surpass the preconceived notions that people had of idol stars' acting. While she was acting, it seemed as if she was badgering. The character still made an impression, but was slightly below acting standards.

Possibly due to the scandals of T-ARA, the viewer's opinions were divided. After the episode aired, viewers had many criticisms on the bulletin board of the drama. On the other hand some viewers stated, "For her first time acting, it was decent."

Her acting was a mix of lack of standards and some expectations.
