“Love Cells” stars Park Sun Ho (Golden Rainbow, Mourning Grave) as Dae Choong, a hapless twenty-seven year old who is sloppy, unemployed, and unlucky in love. While his situation may seem hopeless, his luck changes when he comes face to face with his mythical love cell. Child star Kim Yoo Jung (Secret Door) portrays Navi, Dae Choong’s love cell, who takes on the physical form of a cat.

Episode one of 'Love Cells' opens with Kim Woo Bin.

4Minute’s Nam Ji Hyun portrays pop idol, Seo Rin. Seo Rin is the ideal type of woman for Dae Choong but even Navi’s help may not be enough to sway her to take interest in him. The fantasy aspect of “Love Cells” is the impossibility of a relationship occurring between an idol and someone who is unemployed, which may only happen with the aid of a supernatural force.

“Fated to Love You” star Jang Hyuk has a cameo appearance in “Love Cells” as a neighborhood martial arts practitioner who is a witness to the strange events that take place between Dae Choong and Navi. Kim Woo Bin also has a cameo in “Love Cells,” with “The Heirs” star kicking off the series.

“Love Cells” is based on a Naver webtoon which circulated from 2010 through 2012.

The web series “Love Cells” is now available for viewing on DramaFever, with new fifteen minute episodes quickly releasing.
