People’s Choice Awards 2015 Nominees Revealed! Shailene Woodley Has 2 Nominations In A Category!
Shailene Woodley's fans have secured two slots for her in the Favorite Movie Duo category in 2015 People's Choice Awards for the movies "Divergent" with Ansel Elgort and "The Fault in the Stars" with Theo James.
The 22-year-old actress is competing with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", and Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum for "22 Jump Street".
In the Favorite Action Movie Actress category of 2015 People's Choice Award, "Divergent" star Shailene Woodley is also nominated along with Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Scarlett Johansson, and Zoe Saldana. The top five were previously battling for the official nominee slots with Emma Stone, Emily Blunt, Melissa McCarthy, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz, Julianne Moore, and Halle Berry.
"The Fault in Our Stars" actress Woodley, who played the role of the 16-year-old cancer patient Hazel Grace Lancaster from John Green's novel with the same title, is also one of the five names under the Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress. Chloe Grace Moretz, Emma Stone, Meryl Streep, and Reese Witherspoon completed the top five slot for the said category.
Speaking of "The Fault in Our Stars", will this film bring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort the Favorite Movie Duo title? The other nomination with Theo James under the same nomination for their movie "Divergent" might be the one who will give her the bulls eye.
It would not be the first time that Shailene Woodley received an award in case she grab the title of any of the categories. She won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female and received a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture in the Golden Globe Award because of the movie The Descendants in 2011. But she gained international prominence this year because of her performances as Hazel Grace in "The Fault in Our Stars" and Beatrice "Tris" Prior in "Divergent".
The Final Voting was officially open last November 4 after the top five in each category was announced. People have the chance to vote for their bets until December 4.
The 2015 People's Choice Awards will announce the winners live on January 7, 2015 at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
