Marvel’s ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ and Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson Nominated For The 2015 People’s Choice Awards Categories!

After the Nominee Voting in 2015 People's Choice Award, the official nominations for each category have finally revealed last November 4. Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "Guardians of the Galaxy" made it to the top 5 for the Favorite Movie category.

The two movies produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures are competing with "22 Jump Street", "Maleficent", and another movie based on Marvel comics, "X-Men: Days of Future Past".

Both movies are also nominated for Favorite Action Movie, and it's not a surprise to also see Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson getting most votes for their roles in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and Zoe Saldana for "Guardians of the Galaxy" during the Nominee Voting stage.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "Guardians of the Galaxy" are battling for the Favorite Action Movie category with Marvel comics-based characters "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past". The webslinger's movie was produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Entertainment and distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment, while the uncanny team of superheroes' movie was produced by 20th Century Fox, Marvel Entertainment, Bad Hat Harry Productions, The Donners' Company, and TSG Entertainment with the rights of distribution got by 20th Century Fox.

The movie adaptation "Divergent", starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James, is also competing with the four Marvel comics-based movies for Favorite Action Movie.

Scarlett Johansson has to get most votes for Favorite Movie Actress to beat Angelina Jolie, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence and Melissa McCarthy. Chris Evans must prevail in the final voting stage to snatch the 2015 People's Choice Awards for Favorite Action Movie Actor from Denzel Washington, Hugh Jackman, Liam Neeson, and Mark Wahlberg.

Evans and Johansson, who plays Captain America and Black Widow, respectively, in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" are battling against the chemisty of real-life partners Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in their roles in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", the comedic duo Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in "22 Jump Street", and have to beat Shailene Woodley twice for the movies "The Fault in Our Stars" with Ansel Elgort and "Divergent" with Theo James.

Nominated for their roles in Marvel movies, Johansson and Zaldana are competing with Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Shailene Woodley for 2015 People's Choice Award for Favorite Action Movie Actress.
