Exodus Gods And Kings Trailer: Watch 'Dark Knight' Actor Christian Bale As Moses Defy Joel Edgerton's Ramses; Plus Director Ridley Scott Wows With Spectacular Sequences Featuring Battles And Plagues
Movies based on the bible are all the rage in Hollywood these days. Understandably so, after the success of the Russel Crowe starrer Noah, the industry is discovering that tales from Scripture have a wide audience. Of course the latest, much awaited movie based on a biblical narrative is Ridley Scott's take on the epic tale of Moses and the Israelites passage from Egypt and all the plagues and Red Sea crossing that follows. The first trailers for the movie were promising enough, showcasing the scale and style that the Gladiator director is known for. And now another Exodus Gods and Kings trailer has been released and it is another exciting look at the sweeping story.
In this brand new trailer released by Fox Movies, the third one that the production company has released we see Christian Bale playing Moses urging the enslaved Israelites to follow him to freedom, and the Promised Land that God has in store for them. "Ready yourselves. You've honored me with your trust," Bale as Moses says. "If you stay, you will perish. Follow me. You will be free. Do not be afraid." We also see in this new Exodus Gods And Kings trailer the clash between Moses and Ramses (Joel Edgerton), and how Moses is warning the Pharaoh of the foolishness of keeping the Israelites enslaved. "I came to tell you that something is coming that is far beyond my control unless you set my people free ," Bale as Moses warns.
Of course, it would not be a Ridley Scott movie without the scale and spectacle. And in this new Exodus Gods and Kings trailer, the director brings to full vibrant life the plagues, the battles, and all the exciting elements of this biblical story.
Aside from Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton, the movie boasts of a stellar cast. including Iron Man's Ben Kingsley, Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, and Aliens' Sigourney Weaver. The movie will hit theaters on December 26, but in the meantime watch the latest Exodus Gods and Kings trailer here!
