On the 13th, Director Choi Dong Hoon revealed his greed for a 'The Thieves' sequel during the party celebrating 'The Thieves' attracting over 10,000,000 viewers.
On this day, when asked about 'The Thieves 2,' Director Choi Dong Hoon explained, "When you watch the film, the possibility for a sequel was drawn. If there were to be a 'The Thieves 2,' I want to make it more fun. The reason for the immense popularity of 'The Thieves' is all of the actors. It is because of their acting and perfect harmonization."
Director Choi Dong Hoon was also very humble with his speech in regards to breaking 10,000,000 viewers. He stated, "I'm honestly not expecting any award. Instead of the best director award, best screenplay would be more appropriate, and best actor above all."
On the 14th, 'The Thieves' recorded a total of 9,478,852 viewers, as their 10,000,000 goal can surely be captured in the near future.
