‘To the Beautiful You’ Lee Hyun Woo’s Heart Flutters for the Disguised Sulli: “Feelings for a Boy?” Mental Breakdown
Lee Hyun Woo's heart starts to flutter around Sulli, and as a result is seen having a mental breakdown.
In the 2nd episode of SBS drama 'To the Beautiful You' that was aired on the 16th of August, Cha Eun Gyul (played by Lee Hyun Woo) was seen starting to fall for Goo Jae Hee (played by Sulli).
Goo Jae Hee is a girl that disguised herself as a boy in order to go to the same school as Kang Tae Joon (played by Choi Min Ho). Cha Eun Gyul, who doesn't know this, helped her out at school but then starts to develop feelings towards her.
In this episode, Sulli had a misunderstanding with Kang Tae Joon, who is her roommate, and as a result, gets kicked out of the room. Cha Eun Gyul ends up consoling her, and when he sees her laughing brightly, his hearts starts to beat faster. He is unable to hide his jealousy when he sees Goo Jae Hee and Kang Tae Joon together.
Also, when Goo Jae Hee was seen smiling brightly for becoming the MVP, in Cha Eun Gyul's eyes she was shining brightly as if she had a halo around her, revealing how much he likes her.
In addition, Eun Gyul is later disregarded by Seol Han Na (played by Kim Ji Won), who is looking for Tae Joon. Eun Gyul then says, "First I get mad at a girl, then I feel nervous around a boy. What is happening to me!"
On the other hand, in the episode, Tae Joon kisses Jae Hee, drawing much curiosity from the viewers for the love line that is developing between them.
