Shin Hyun Joon and Kim Jung Eun Casted Together For 'Ulala Couple'...'Comic Couple'

Actors Shin Hyun Joon and Kim Jung Eun are to appear as a comic married couple. They will appear as the main characters of the new KBS 2TV Monday Tuesday drama 'Ulala Couple,' that is to air in October after 'Haeundae Lovers.'

A KBS official stated that after they were recently casted, they were thinking about it in a positive way. They are at the final stage for them to sign a contract. Without any extremes, it is said that they will both be the main characters. 

One official said on the 22nd, "After the two people thought about it for a long time, they are on the side of joining the drama. The two have already shown comic and serious professional acting, and the drama insiders are highly anticipating."

'Ulala Couple' is about a troubled married couple in their early 40s, where one day they switch souls and create a comic happening. Shin Hyun Joon plays the role of, Nam Il Suk, who is a patriarchal husband and a hotelier. Kim Jung Eun plays the wife, Ahn Soon Ae, and will represent the wives of Korea. One morning, the two switch souls and realistically show the problems of a married couples, through a fantasy setting. 

'Ulala Couple' was written by writter Choi Moon Shik, who also wrote the dramas, 'Come Back, Soon Ae,' and 'Bad Couple.' She will be working with producer Lee Jung Sub of 'Bread, Love and Dreams.' This drama will air in the beginning of October.

Recently, Shin Hyun Joon appeared as the first Bridal Mask on the number 1 KBS 2TV drama 'Bridal Mask.' Kim Jung Eun appeared on the drama 'The Korean Peninsula,' in April.
