Shin Sung Rok expressed his feelings about wearing a scruffy wig.

On November 14th, a production presentation of the new KBS2 Wednesday/Thursday drama "The King's Face" (script Lee Hyang Hee, Yoon Soo Jung, director Yoon Sung Shik, Cha Young Hoon) was held at the Ambassador Hotel in Joong-gu.  Here, Shin Sung Rok talked about wearing a scruffy wig.  He said, "There were a lot of talks during the design stages.  Nonetheless, we designed it so that it wouldn't get in the way of extreme action."

At this, he added, "From the fourth episode on, I'll be wearing a traditional up-style to enter the palace.  I think I fit it quite well."

In the drama, Shin Sung Rok was born as a child of a butcher and had a low background.  Nonetheless, in the role of Kim Do Chi, he has a grand dream of making the world a better place."

"The King's Face" is a period drama with a tragic love story of Kwang Hae in a love triangle with his father Seonjo.  The crown prince, who had been an illegitimate child, survives the bloody war and ends up being the king.  It will be first broadcast at 9:50PM on November 19th.
