Goo Hye Sun's Plan To Visit Japan Cancelled For 'Various Reasons'

Actress Goo Hye Sun was planning to visit Japan on September 3rd, but for 'various reasons,' it was canceled. 

On September 1st, a Japanese media Daily Sports reported, "it was stated on August 31st, that the Korean actress, Goo Hye Sun, is to cancel her visit to Japan on September 3rd."

Goo Hye Sun, who was a main character of the drama, 'Absolute Boyfriend,' was to go to Japan, for a DVD releasing event. However, the schedule was quickly changed.

Goo Hye Sun will also not be attending the event on September 4th. According to the Daily Sports report, the organizers stated, "for various reasons, Goo Hye Sun will not be attending."

However, a big reason for why her Japan schedule was suddenly canceled, may be due to the broadcasting pending notification for her drama, 'Absolute Boyfriend.' The drama 'Absolute Boyfriend,' was to air starting on September 13th, on BS Fuji, but it received a broadcasting pending notification on the 30th. BS Fuji stated, "it was for organizing reasons," but there are assumptions that it may due to Goo Hye Sun's past statements regarding Dokdo.

Goo Hye Sun stated in a Korean media interview in 2008, "the fact that Dokdo is our land is common sense. I don't know the intent of the Japanese government."
