‘Supernatural’ Season 10 Recap: Meet Crowley’s Mother Dearest In Episode 7! Read More Highlights From ‘Girls, Girls Girls!
"Girls, Girls, Girls" were all about the girls all right and we finally figure out who the witch Rowena really is. Read on for the latest "Supernatural" season 10 recap.
The episode starts off with a runaway hooker being pursued by her pimp - one of Crowley's (Mark Sheppard) rogue demons. She stabs his eye with the broken heel from her shoe but of course that doesn't stop the demon from snapping her neck.
We later find out that the demons are actually running a prostitution ring (Raul's Girls) and the price for a night of fun? Men's souls.
Sam and Dean (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) get entangled into it when the older Winchester go on Tinder for some fun. Unfortunately, the girl he meets up with is one of the demon's girls. Before they could get to Raul, however, the new female character, Rowena (Ruth Connell) got there before them.
She kills Raul with a hex bag while his partner escapes. She also brings the two remaining girls with her to apparently turn them into witches like her.
Rowena, who was previously described as "a tough but elegant woman who will stop at nothing to reclaim her power base," has been leaving a trace of dead bellhops and waiters, making it easier for the brothers to find her and the runaway (former) hookers.
They come just as Crowley's demons arrive to get Rowena. In the middle of the scuffle, Rowena turns one of the girls into an attack dog to fend off the brothers as she tries to escape with the other girl.
Dean catches up with her but has to let her go when Cole (his stalker and whom he beat up during his demon days) arrives to fight with him again. He comes prepared, (throwing holy water on Dean) but the older Winchester convinces him he's not a demon anymore.
They fight and Dean eventually gives Cole an opening, telling him the truth about his father's death all those years ago. He hands him his own gun but warns him against allowing the darkness into his soul.
"Once you touch that darkness, it never goes away," Dean tells him.
In past "Supernatural" season 10 recaps, Dean already seem to have doubts on his own humanity but he hasn't expressed it in words until now.
After Sam reminds him of his family, Cole decides to go home. He confronts Dean about what he said as well but his brother convinces him (unsuccessfully) that he was only telling Cole the things he wanted to hear.
In the meantime, Hannah (Erica Caroll) meets her vessel's husband and decides to go back to heaven to free her. Castiel (Misha Collins) is also pushed into looking for his own vessel's family.
Meanwhile, Crowley's demons were able to catch Rowena. The King Of Hell goes to meet the witch who had been tied up and battered by his soldiers and is utterly floored to see his mother. Just who is Rowena exactly?
Fans will have to find out in future "Supernatural" season 10 recaps! The next episode, "Hibbing 911," will air on Tuesday, December 2 at 9p.m. on The CW.
