Even though the drama 'Arang and the Magistrate' is at it's climax in the storyline, the viewership has dropped.

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research that was conducted on the 27th of September, the episode of the MBC Wednesday and Thursday drama 'Arang and the Magistrate' that aired on the 26th of September, had a viewer ratings of 11.7%. This is 1.4% lower than the previous episode's viewer ratings.

In the episode of the drama 'Arang and the Magistrate,' Moo Young(Han Jung Soo) failed at removing Hong Ryun(Kang Moon Young). It was implied that Eun Oh(Lee Joon Gi) will receive Hong Ryun's situation, and it left the viewers feeling bad.

Even in these dangerous circumstances, Hong Ryun kept going after Arang(Shin Min Ah)'s body and made Joo Wal(Yeon Woo Jin) nervous.

Meanwhile, the KBS2 drama 'The Innocent Man,' that is broadcasted at the same time, received a viewer ratings of 14%. The SBS drama 'To The Beautiful You,' that also airs at the same time as 'Arang and the Magistrate,' received a viewer ratings of 4.4%.
