Lee Joon Gi Won The Hallyu Grand Prize At Japan's The Sky Perfect Awards
On the 27th, Lee Joon Gi received the grand prize in the Hallyu sector at the Sky Perfect Awards 2012.
Sky Perfect Awards is a contents award show hosted by Japan's the largest satellite broadcast station, Sky Perfect TV. The viewers vote on and award the most popular show.
Lee Joon Gi won the grand prize with the original program of Mnet Japan, "Lee Joon Gi's JG Style!" It's a real documentary that showed Lee Joon Gi's daily life. Lee Joon Gi not only appeared on the show, but he participated in the producing and editing it.
Lee Joon Gi was unable to attend to the award ceremony because he was filming MBC TV Wednesday-Thursday drama, "Arang and the Magistrate". However, he did show his appreciation through a video message. He said, "I am honored to have won the grand prize. It is all thanks to the viewers. I am sorry I was not able to attend. I will come to see my fans in Japan soon."
