Why is 'Running Man' so popular in Asian countries? At the recent Mnet Asian Music Award, which took place at Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena on December 3, 2014, the popular SBS entertainment program 'Running Man' members Song Ji Hyo and Lee Kwang Soo hosted the program.

'Running Man' is a popular show in Korea. Outside of Korea, the show is even more popular. In China, the program has been remade as 'Run, Brother, which stars Deng Chao, Wang Ba O Chang, Wang Chu Lan, Chun Ga, Lee Chun, Jung Kai and Angela Baby and is co-produced by Zhejiang Satellite TV and SBS, South Korea's broadcast network. A college student who attended the Mnet Asian Music Award at Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena said in an interview, "Running Man is my favorite Korean program. I even know the names of all Running Man members." According to TV producers, 'Running Man' is popular internationally because the programs' basic concept is hide and seek, which is simple enough for everyone to understand and culturally ubiquitous. In related news, the SBS entertainment program 'Running Man' has been one of the oldest and widely popular weekend shows in Korea and many Asian countries. The 'Running Man' members, Yoo Jae Suk, Gary, Haha, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Lee Kwang Soo and Song Ji Hyo, play missions with guests of the weekend. It airs every Sunday night.
