Jo Seung Woo won the hearts of the viewers on MBC's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Horse Doctor' with his wily acting.

He made his first appearance on the 15th. Instead of the typical historical character, Jo Seung Woo acted as a somewhat lighter character that is lively and works with fervor. He showed well-rounded acting as he plays a passionate young man.

Jo Seung Woo, as Baek Kwang Hyun, made the viewers laugh when he carried the puppy he cured around the ranch to show off and when he joked with the princess without realizing who she was.

Baek Kwang Hyun and his close friend Ja Bong (played by Ahn Sang Tae) have a great rapport and elevate the funny scenes with their excellent comedic timing.

Jo Seung Woo also appealed to the masses in various ways as he cried over a dying dog and when he tended Princess Sook Hwi's cat with the utmost care in all seriousness.

As of now, the viewers have praised Jo Seung Woo's comedic acting and are welcoming of his acting transformation.

On the strength of Jo Seung Woo's charms, 'Horse Doctor' achieved a ratings high on the 16th with 12.9% and took first place in its timeslot, replacing KBS's 'Ooh La La Couple'.

With 'Horse Doctor' on the rise, it will be interesting to see how far it will go.
