Lee Beom Su Confirms Casting For ‘Iris 2’ As North Korean Agent, Will Go Head To Head With Jang Hyuk
Lee Beom Su has agreed to join "Iris 2".
Lee Beom Su has shown his wide acting range as he acted in a variety of projects such as movies and dramas of different genres in different time periods. 'Iris' was the first of its kind, creating its own genre as Korea's blockbuster drama. Lee Beom Su will officially join the sequel of "Iris", a drama that received a lot of love.
He will be playing Yoo Joong Won, a North Korean secret agent from Class 35. As Lee Beom Su is playing someone from the North, he will heighten the tension as he goes head to head with Jang Hyuk's Yoo Gun character.
As a North Korean secret agent, Yoo Joong Won's missions send him all over the world. While he is working independently, he gets pulled into the tangled situation between NSS and Iris. Yoo Joong Won later becomes the most influential from the North side. Lee Beom Su looks to leave a strong impact with his character as he goes from one extreme to the other.
Lee Beom Su is determined to show his mettle as an actor with dynamic appeal and highly adaptable acting skills through "Iris 2". He is an actor that more than pulls his weight in his projects with his unique presence.
The actors and actresses that are currently casted are Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, Lee Beom Su, Oh Yeon Su, Kim Young Chul, Kim Seung Woo, Im Su Hwang, and etc. along with Kara's Kang Ji Young and MBLAQ's Lee Joon, and Hollywood star Daniel Henney. "Iris 2" will begin filming in November with plans to air early in 2013.
