The “Orphan Black” season 3 premiere date has been announced as April 18, 2015.

Although the premiere date seems quite far from now, “Orphan Black” fans will be happy to know that there will be months of thrilling spoilers as we wait for season 3 to officially enter our lives.

Along with the release of the premiere date, another sneak peek for season 3 of “Orphan Black” has been revealed as well, showing Tatiana Maslany as a clone facing off against the newly discovered male clone, played by Ari Millen, according to TIME.

The synopsis of season 3 of “Orphan Black” reportedly asks the same questions that fans have been asking, “Who are these new clones? Who created them? And more importantly, why do they exist?”

Co-creator Graeme Manson stated that season 3 will be taking place shortly after the events of the season 2 finale, according to International Business Times.

“Like our Leda clones, we don’t like to introduce them lightly,” Manson told Entertainment Weekly.

Manson added, “We don’t do a lot of red shirts. And I think that holds true with these guys. How many of them are there actually? Well, that’s part of the mystery too.”

Although other clones are entering the show, Manson has assured “Orphan Black” fans that that won’t take focus away from our main female clones.

“Are these guys going to break the bonds our sisters? Because this does remain Sarah Manning and her sisters — this does remain their story. So is the threat that these guys pose — will it bring them together or will it break the bonds?,” asked Manon.

He added, “They are definite pressure. and within the season again, Sarah is the lynchpin. So whatever more she understands about these Castor boys, she understood more about herself and her sisters and their origin story.”
