Wonder Woman Movie Update: Warner Bros Hired Several Screenwriters To Write The Screenplay As Six Different Stories Are Being Developed For DC Heroine

With Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice under the direction of Zack Snyder having currently finished the production, fans are a step closer to watching the DC shared film universe take shape. Once the fans see Kal-El and Bruce Wayne share the films, screen like Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman will be coming directly on its heels.

After the latter two comic book films are next after Dawn of Justice, it is logical why Warner Bros invested so much time and energy on the 2014 winds down, with the officially locked-in and star-studded cast and setting, Michelle MacLaren to call all the shots. Now, a new and attention-catching progress about the screenwriter of Diana's solo tripping has emerged.

A few weeks before, Jason Fuchs, the Pan writer was hired to collaborate on the script, however it seems like he has some rival. Based on the scribe, Arash Amel, who credits are Grace of Monaco and Erased, WB got six different writers to write six various screenplays for Wonder Woman with the goal to choose the most suitable for the film.

In a different way, WB is worth of the credit for continuing the best product probable; on the other hand, there are more arguably better and efficient ways to do it. W could have hired easily one upcoming screenwriter and then called other writers' cooperation to finalize the treatment if required, or held talks with possible candidates to check which script is the most suitable for the vision of MacLaren in the film. It looks a little too much to have several writers to write their own screenplays and submit them like they are on a contest.

It is valuable to take this with a grain of salt, Amel only says, "someone" and not giving any other details as to who that person may be. On the other hand, he is professional in the film industry, so it stands reason that he has some relationships with this type of insider information. Provided with the history of WB with recruiting different writers simultaneously, his info may be more plausible. WB has shown a knack for hiring top-notch talent for their upcoming DC movies, thus, it will be a sign the production knows what its doing.
