Hyun Bin and Han Ji Min To Reunite

2014 was a great year for reunions. Onscreen couples such as Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk, Nam Sang Mi and Lee Jun Ki and Choi Ji Woo and Kwon Sang Woo reunited to deliver entertaining dramas. But a few of these reunions were so successful that 2015 may feature more of the same. Already one reunion is in the cards with Hyun Bin and Han Ji Min set to star in the upcoming SBS drama "Jekyll and I," also known as "Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde."

While some of 2014's reuniting couples had not worked together in a while, Hyun Bin and Han Ji Min just finished working on the same project. The stars appeared in the 2014 film "The Fatal Encounter," also known as "The King's Wrath." He played the young Jeong Jo, whose father Crown Prince Sado was executed by royal decree. And even though the actors were born in the same year, she played his very young grandmother and political rival, the widow dowager Queen Jeong Soon.

In the upcoming drama the actors play lovers but their romance is not without the inevitable k-drama complications. This time it's split personalities.

Hyun Bin plays Gu Seo Jin, a chaebol who runs a theme park. While it looks like he has everything a person could want, a childhood trauma left him with a split personality that makes it impossible for him to find love. One of his personalities is cold and ruthless, the other is kind and gentle.

He wants to sell the theme park, which is not profitable. But the owner of the park, Jang Ha Na, played by Han Ji Min, says she can save the circus and turn a profit. She falls for not just one but both of Gu Seo Jin's personalities.

It will be Hyun Bin's first drama role since he finished his mandatory military service. He is best known for his roles in "Secret Garden" and "My Lovely Kim Sam Soon." Han Ji Min is best known for her roles in "Rooftop Prince" and the melodrama "Padam Padam."

According to producer Jo Young Gwang, the actors are well suited for their roles.

"I worked hard for the great cast," said Jo. "Hyun Bin and Han Ji Min are perfect for their roles."

It has also been confirmed that singer Lee Hyeri will play a part in the drama. She will play Min Woo Jung, a girl with a crush on Hyun Bin's character.

"Jekyll and I" will follow "Pinocchio" in January.
