While Viola Davies and Claire Danes are nominated for the Best Actress in TV Series - Drama award, other TV stars also got a nod for the Musical or Comedy category.
Lena Dunham, from the HBO hit show, "Girls," received a nod from the HFPA alongside Taylor Schilling from "Orange Is The New Black."
The dubbed "breakthrough artist" this fall, Gina Rodriguez from "Jane The Virgin," has also been nominated.
Other actresses on the list are "Veep" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Edie Falco from "Nurse Jackie."
