Robert Pattinson has been happily dating Tahliah Barnett AKA FKA Twigs for months and according to a new report from Daily Mail, the singer is more preferred by the "Twilight" star's parents over his ex girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.
The electro pop singer was reportedly introduced by the actor to his parents in Barnes, West London last Christmas. The report revealed how Robert Pattinson's parents allegedly prefer the eccentric singer over their son's former on-screen and off-screen partner Kristen Stewart.
A source who is close to Robert Pattinson's family reportedly explained: "FKA is not as clean-cut, but that makes her more fun."
The insider said that Robert Pattinson is better off dating a free-spirited girl like Tahliah Barnett AKA FKA Twigs, because he "can get very serious."
The Daily Mail report added that the controversial couple celebrated New Year's Eve at The Russet, a popular hotspot in London.
Aside from the movie star's parents, a recent report from Hollywood Life shared how Robert Pattinson is dating Tahliah Barnett AKA FKA Twigs with the approval of his siblings.
"Rob's family absolutely adores FKA twigs. His sisters have never seen him happier," the insider said.
The source explained: "Both Lizzy and Victoria totally approve of FKA twigs because they know how dedicated and committed she is to their brother."
The insider added that Robert Pattinson's sisters "love how easy going (FKA Twigs) is."
"She really brings out the best in Rob - he's never been so at peace and just blissful," the insider claimed.
The Hollywood Life report also pointed out the difference between how Robert Pattinson's sisters and parents seem to be more at ease with FKA Twigs than with Kristen Stewart.
"They've never seen him more in love, not even with Kristen," the source said.
The insider explained: "What's impressive to Rob's sisters is that FKA twigs is interested in them and getting to know them. She's very engaging with them and Rob's parents, whereas Kristen was more reserved and closed off."
