Following Gina Rodriguez' win at the Golden Globes last Sunday, the new dramedy "Jane The Virgin" was renewed for a second season. The CW also confirmed "Supernatural" season 11 along with six other show renewals, according to TV Line.

The CW approved new seasons for "Arrow," "Reign," "Supernatural," "The 100," "The Flash," "The Originals," and "The Vampire Diaries."

"Arrow" will be entering Season 4 while "The Vampire Diaries" will be preparing for Season 7.

"Supernatural," on the other hand, will be surpassing "Smallville's" record as it enters its 11th season. "Reign," "The 100," and "The Originals" will be having its third season, while newbies "Jane The Virgin" and "The Flash" will be having their second year.

"By picking up these shows now, our executive producers can start planning next season's storylines, and rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 lineups," CW boss Mark Pedowitz said in a statement, according to Mstarz.

Fans immediately rejoiced through Twitter using the hashtag #SupernaturalS11.

One avid follower posted, "Supernatural has been renewed for an 11th season, REJOICE!!"

Another comically tweeted, "WHOEVER SOLD THEIR SOUL THANK YOU SO MUCH."

Meanwhile, another fan wished that Crowley (Mark Sheppard) will survive season 10 to to appear in season 11.

Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean Winchester in the decade-long show, was previously rumored to have let something slip about season 11 during a "Supernatural" convention in Vancouver last year.

Jared Padalecki's (who plays Sam) onscreen brother reportedly said, "We will have season 11... S*ck it, Welling!"

He was referring to Tom Welling who played Clark Kent in another long-running TV show in the CW about a young Superman, "Smallville." It ended after 10 seasons.

"I would love to see 'Supernatural' go beyond Season 10. I'm a big fan of the show. I've seen every episode... big fan of Jared and Jensen," CW boss Mark Pedowitz previously told reporters last July 2014 according to Zap2It, igniting hope in every "Supernatural" fan all over the world.

Aside from "Supernatural" season 11 being confirmed, here is a trailer for the upcoming episode 10 for season 10. The show resumes on Tuesday, January 20.
