'Pride And Prejudice' Ends In First Place
Viewers delivered a positive verdict on the final episode of "Pride and Prejudice" by placing the legal drama's ratings in first place. For that episode the drama jumped from third to first place with a rating of 9.7 percent, which was 1.7 percent higher than the previous episode.
All of the loose ends of the drama were successfully resolved. The crooks met justice in the courtroom. The corruption within the prosecutor's office was exposed. The mysterious and confusing events that led to the death of Kang Soo's mother and Yeol Mu's brother were finally explained in a straightforward way.
The love story between Yeol Mu, played by Baek Jin Hee and Dong Chi, played by Choi Jin Hyuk finally has a happy ending. With this case behind them they can both concentrate on their careers and each other.
For the last few weeks the drama has faced stiff competition from "Healer" and "Punch." "Healer" is the story of a mysterious night courier, played by Ji Chang Wook. "Healer" switched places with "Pride and Prejudice" on that drama's final night. The drama fell 0.3 percent to third place with a rating of 9.1 percent. The drama, which also stars Park Min Young and Yoo Ji Tae did move closer to resolution with its 11th episode as the Healer takes risks that may expose his identity and make him more vulnerable. The Healer revealed himself to Yoo Ji Tae's character, a man who could turn out to be a friend or an enemy. Love has also led The Healer to want to reveal himself to Park Min Young's character. He set up a date with her so they could spend time together even though he remained in the shadows. It's just a matter of time before these risk-taking moves endanger both of them.
"Punch" landed in second place with 9.6 percent. "Punch" is also a drama that focuses on corruption among prosecutors. Park Jung-Hwan, played by Kim Rae Won, is the head of the anticorruption investigation team and to get there he made some trade-offs. When he finds out that he only has a short time to live, he decides to expose the corruption. The drama also stars Cho Jae Hyun and Kim A Joong.
The historical drama "Shine Or Go Crazy" will take the time slot held by "Pride and Prejudice." "Shine Or Go Crazy" stars Jang Hyuk, Oh Yeon Suk, Honey Lee and Lim Joo Hwan.
