Three Reasons Min Hyo Rin May Be Taeyang's Girlfriend

K-pop fans may know actress Min Hyo Rin as the woman featured in Taeyang's latest videos. She's the woman he gets intimate with in the "1 AM" music video. She's the eyes, nose and lips in his "Eyes, Nose and Lips" video. But is she the woman whose eyes, nose and lips he dreams about? Is she the woman behind the song?

Rumors have made a couple out of the actress and the Big Bang singer but so far there is no definitive proof. Here are three reasons it might be true.

1. Min Hyo Rin is close friends with Kiku Mizuhara, alleged girlfriend of G-Dragon. Although G-Dragon and his agency YG Entertainment have always insisted that the model-actress-singer  Kiku Mizuhara and G-Dragon are just friends, the Korean media outlet Dispatch recently caught them being affectionate at a party. They wear matching clothes and jewelry and have been seen together on several occasions, including celebrating G-Dragon's birthday.

It was reportedly Kiku Mizuhara that suggested Min Hyo Rin to be the girl in Taeyang's videos. If that's true Min Hyo Rin can not be the girl the song was written about. Any relationship she has with Taeyang did not pre-date the writing of "Eyes, Nose and Lips."

2. Several netizens have reported seeing Min Hyo Rin at restaurants with Taeyang and she was also spotted at his concert. There is no confirmation that it was actually Min Hyo Rin dining with Taeyang. Netizens did point out that Taeyang's manager was photographed at the same restaurant. Min Hyo Rin was also photographed at the same restaurant on another occasion with Kiku Mizuhara. It could all be a series of business meetings.

3. Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin have also supposedly been seen wearing matching clothing, including rings and sneakers.

While none of these things definitively prove that there is anything other than a professional relationship between the singer and actress, they do make an attractive couple.

The 28-year-old singer and actress has appeared in the dramas "Triple," "Dr. Champ," "Romance Town" and "Perseverance Goo Hae Ra." She also appeared in several films since her 2006 debut. In 2012 she starred with Jo In Sung and Park Jin Young in the film "A Millionaire on the Run." This year she stars in the film "Twenty" with Kim Woo Bin, Kang Ha Neul and Lee Joon Ho.

"1 AM" and "Eyes, Nose, Lips" were not her first music video appearances. She can also be seen in videos for three songs by FT Island, as well as videos for Park Ki Young, Mighty Mouth, Evan and Junho.
