NBA trade rumors between the Boston Celtics and the NY Knicks are buzzing and this is coming from reports that Amare Stoudemire is unhappy with the Knicks and he wants to leave the team. It should be noted that the Celtics team staff said that they want to rebuild now. It would make sense for the Celtics to send Jeff Green to the Knicks.

The trade between Jeff Green for Amare Stoudemire was previously suggested in Grantland's NBA Preview with Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose. Simmons, also known as the The Sports Guy-spoke through his fictional character, Clairvoyant Bill.

This would bring the era of two All-stars in New York. "I actually like the thought of Jeff Green and Carmelo together, I don't know why I think he would get him the ball in all the right spots. I think that would work."

The Knicks have endured the Amare Stoudemire mistake for so long. Many are still on the fence about the Carmelo Anthony trade and all the assets they flipped for him. But the trade for Rondo would be the most reasonable and may result in New York being a contender.
