'Reply 1997' Will Be Made Into a Book

Mega-hit drama 'Reply 1997' will be made in a book according to CJ E&M.

A network official said “It is the first time, in our company, that a drama of any kind has made into a book.” Since the drama ended in September, many publishers have shown interest in making the drama into a book.

The drama starring Seo In Guk and Jung Eun Ji from girl group A Pink, is about a group of friends in the late 1990s that live in Busan. The drama explore the K-pop culture of the 90s, touches on the topic of first love and long-lasting friendship, as it goes back and forth between the past and the present.

The drama gathered a lot attention from fans due to its beautiful, yet complicated love story and its appealing way of narrating the story.
