Hallyu star Lee Min Ho in a recent interview discussed his career as an actor and his action noir film 'Kangnam 1970,' which premiered on January 21, 2015, in Korea.

Actor Lee Min Ho said that he has been rejecting invitations to film movies, because he did not think it was time. "Considering the genre of film, I wanted to film (movies) when I matured more, when I could take responsibility of filming a movie. I could have filmed movies after 'Boys Over Flowers.' But I waited. I did not want to film movies involuntarily or awkwardly. Luckily, director Yoo Ha handed me the scenario at the right time, and he waited until the drama 'The Heirs' ended." In related news, 'Kangnam 1970' is Lee Min Ho's debut film. It is an action noir movie based on the realities of Kangnam, a district of Seoul, in the 1970s. It tells a story of the development of Seoul in the 1970s. It premiered on January 21, 2015, in Korea.
