Kim Jae Joong's mother clarifies she did not abandoned her son, like many thought she did.

On an interview for show “Grand Life” from the channel TV Cheosun, Oh Seo Jin, explained “After going through a hard divorce at a young age, I had many hardships after that, after a close friend's recommendation, I give him to another house. At the time I did not understand that I gave him for adoption.”

After that it took her about 20 years to find her son, who has become a Hallyu star. After their long-waited reunion, everything became a lot harder. She began to hear painful and judgmental words from people and fans. People starting saying that he only went to find her son to take advantage of him, since now he was very famous.

She also confessed that after hearing such horrible, and hurtful words, she tried committing suicide.

She expressed “I hope my story, helps other with the same situation, and offers comfort.”
