Jung Yong Hwa was a guest on the February 4 episode of “Radio Star” along with FNC Entertainment's founder and CEO, Han Sung Ho. During the episode, the topic of Jung Yong Hwa's popularity with female celebrities became a hot topic along with his recent choice of lackluster Korean dramas.

After having his image built up by “Radio Star” host Kyuhyun of the group Super Junior, he experiences gentle teasing about the ratings of his recent K-Dramas. Kyuhyun focused on the positive aspects of the CNBLUE member by stating “Jung Yong Hwa is very popular among female celebrities.” This was followed by a very pointed explanation that he tends to shoot down the celebrities who have shown interest in him.

Han Sung Ho highlighted his work ethics by focusing on his ability to manage his career. At this point, “Radio Star” host Kim Gu Ra interjected. As a response to the Han's positive statement, he jokingly asked Jung Yong Hwa, “Then, why do you pick the dramas you choose?”

While his breakout role in “You're Beautiful,” was a tremendous success, he has recently starred in Korean dramas which have yielded disappointing ratings.

In 2013, he starred opposite Yoon Eun Hye and Lee Dong Gun in “Marry Him If You Dare.” “Marry Him If You Dare” failed to generate top ratings and was overshadowed by the runaway hit drama, “The Heirs.” In 2014, he joined actor and rapper YDG in the tvN period drama, “The Three Musketeers.” “The Three Musketeers” also struggled with ratings.

Kim Gu Ra followed his initial question with more teasing by asking if the CNBLUE star wanted to join the cast of his upcoming comedic film.
