On February 5, SBS launched a viral campaign on Twitter to reunite Yoon Eun Hye with Kim Jong Kook on “Running Man.” Coming on the heels of an interview in which Yoon expressed her interest in appearing on the show, the network urged fans to share their message to bring the actress onto “Running Man.”

In the Twitter post SBS expressed their desire to, “Summon Yoon Eun Hye to the Running Man Movement.” The message then asks fans to, “RT [Retweet] and bring Yoon Eun Hye to Running Man! Bring Yoon Eun Hye with 10,000 RT.” SBS included a “Running Man” video with the Tweet, where the actress was repeatedly mentioned.

Both artists established successful music careers prior to their on-going appearance on the eight '00s show, “X-Man.” Yoon debuted as a vocalist in the K-pop girl group Baby V.O.X while Kim was a member of the hip-hop dance pop duo, Turbo.

The run-on joke between the pair started when they worked together as permanent guests on the SBS variety show “X-Man.” “X-Man” was based on the '90s show “The Mole,” with hosts that included Lee Jae Suk and Kang Ho Dong.

Yoon Eun Hye and Kim Jong Kook engaged in realistic banter during the show, convincing viewers that they were an actual couple. The virtual couple has received increased attention in the past few months, with Kim recently admitting, “When we were recording, I would think of her as my woman.” Both stars have denied actually dating but the speculation which was driven by their chemistry has set the precedent for variety show pairs like the Monday Couple on “Running Man.”
