Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin have emerged as successful film stars since the conclusion of “The Heirs.” Both actors pursued modeling prior to establishing solid acting careers. The young actors excelled in the genres of action and melodrama, paving the way for a new generation top film idols.

Lee Min Ho has received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Kim Jong Dae in his breakout film, “Gangnam 1970.”

His previous acting experience was primarily within the teen drama genres such as “Boys Over Flowers.” He sharpened his acting skills roles in unique dramas such as “Personal and the 2011 action drama “City Hunter.” “City Hunter” showcased his talent in stage combat and effectively framed his ability to breakout of the teen genre.

Kim Woo Bin debuted as a model in 2009 prior to establishing his acting career. His first drama roles were in “White Christmas” and the campy comedy “Vampire Idol.” While these roles were substantial, audiences were not completely won over by the actor.

In December 2012, his career received a jump start when he starred opposite Lee Jong Suk, Choi Daniel, and Jang Nara in “School 2013.” His success in the teen drama led to a hosting opportunity with the music chart program M! Countdown. These significant accomplishments led to a starring role as Choi Young Do in “The Heirs.”

Since his breakout role in “The Heirs,” he has starred in several action and crime movies including the 2013 film “Friend: The Great Legacy” and and the 2014 heist flick “The Technicians.” While his next K-Drama role has yet to be announced, the actor will appear along with Kang Ha Neul and 2PM’s Junho in the upcoming buddy movie “Twenty.”
