'Empire' Season 1, Episode 8 Spoilers & First-Look Preview: 'The Lyon's Roar' Sneak-Peek Sees Lucious (Terrence Howard) Struggling To Decide Between Cookie And Anika [VIDEO]
Are you ready for another all-new episode of "Empire" Season 1? When "Empire" returns this week with Episode 8, Lucious Lyons (Terrence Howard) will struggle to decide between his love for Cookie and Anika. Not to mention, we'll also see Anika and Cookie struggling to accept his torn feelings - and how he's playing them both. In addition, Camilla (Naomi Campbell) will be stirring up plenty of trouble, as the Lyons prepare for the annual Empire Entertainment White Party. Care for some more spoilers? The brand new sneak-peek preview for "The Lyon's Roar" provides fans with some mind-boggling spoilers! As the "Empire" YouTube page explains, "Executive Producer/Writer Danny Strong talks about EMPIRE's white party, Cookie vs. Camilla and Anika's decision." "Girls ain't nothin' but trouble huh?" suggests the "Empire" YouTube page. By the looks of this Wednesday's show, the women of "Empire" seem to be stirring up plenty of trouble!
"Cookie sees an opportunity to get the family bonding together, which is to produce an album called: 'Lucious Lyon: Legacy,'" explains Executive Producer and Writer Danny Strong.
"Hakeem and Cookie really start to have a breakthrough, but Camilla gets in his head to be more of a leader, more of a grown-up. And I bet you, in the back of her mind she's thinking: 'If I can turn him into the king of 'Empire,' perhaps I can be the queen of 'Empire?'" suggests the EP, referring to Naomi Campbell's wayward character.
Later, "Lucious tells Cookie he's going to get rid of Anika, but of course things get complicated," explains Strong, suggesting that the break-up may not go as smoothly as Cookie may hope.
"This is a big episode for Anika: Is she just going to go along with Lucious Lyon [Terrence Howard], who lies to her and cheats on her? Or is she going stand up for herself?" he asks, leading viewers to wonder whether or not Anika will stick by her man's side.
