'Legend of the Witch' Lee Jong Won's Chicken Drumstick Proposal
In "Legend of the Witch" Lee Jong Won failed in his marriage proposal using a chicken leg.
On the 35th episode of MBC weekend special "Legend of the Witch" (script Koo Hyun Sook, director Joo Sung Woo) broadcast on Feb. 21st, Wol Han (played by Lee Jong Wol prepared a special marriage proposal.
Wol Han called Poong Geum (played by Oh Hyun Kyung) out to the chicken place that he goes to regularly. He said, "I've liked you since the first time I saw you. Let's officially...." With this, he gave over a chicken drumstick.
Hearing this, Poong Geum snapped and got surprised. She said, "It wouldn't even be enough to give a whole factory filled with chickens. You think you'll be able to gain a woman's heart with just a chicken drumstick?" She looked disappointed and left her seat.
In actuality, Wol Han had put a ring under the lower part of the chicken leg. Nonetheless, Poong Geum thought that Wol Han was taking the easy way out and misunderstood. She didn't even look at the drumstick and had refused.
Wol Han also got disappointed and said, "It's shining and glittery. Why can't she look at the ring?" and drew laughter from the audience.
