'Angry Mom' Kim Hee Sun, A Challenge That She Cannot Overcome

On the MBC Wednesday/Thursday mini-series "Angry Mom" broadcast on Mar. 18, Jo Gang Ja (played by Kim Hee Sun) was incredibly angered after learning that her daughter Oh Ah Ran (played by Kim Yoo Jung) had been beaten at school.

Gang Ja says to Oh Ah Ran's homeroom teacher (played by Ahn Sang Tae), "My daughter is being affected by school bullying.  Nonetheless, rather than getting worried about Ah Ran, the homeroom teacher simply said, "Let's get Ah Ran to transfer."

Nonetheless, Gang Ja didn't give up.  She said, "Please let me meet the kids that hit my child."  Nonetheless, the teacher simply said, "There's no evidence that kids hit Ah Ran.  There's nothing clear so you're going to only get blamed in the wrong way.  Ah Ran was hanging out with the wrong crowd.  For Ah Ran, let's just forget about this."

Gang Ja was angered at the teacher's comments.  She started to curse at him and said that he would not have done the same had this been his daughter with black and blues all over her body.  She said, "I'm going to report this to the police, put a complaint in with the Department of Education and go to court if I have to to get to the bottom of this."
