“The Berlin File” Reaches 4 Million Views in 12 Days

Movie “The Berlin File” surpassed the 4 million mark this past weekend in just 12 days.

The movie gathered 1.2 million admissions in the New Lunar Year weekend coming at second, after Ryu Seung Ryong and Park Shin Hye's moving story, “A Miracle in Cell # 7” came back to the first place with 1.3 million sales.

“The Berlin File” immediately reached #1 at the Korean box office upon its release on January 30th, selling 270,835 tickets on its first day.

The movie reached the 4 million mark, 4 days before the blockbuster “The Masquerade” that reached 12 millions views in 2012.

Currently “A Miracle in Cell # 7” is number one with a total 6 million sales, making it the highest grossing film of 2013.

“The Berlin File” directed by Lee Hwan Hyung (The Unjust) and starring Ha Jung Woo, Han Suk Kyu, Ryoo Seung Bum and Gianna Jun is about a North Korean agent in Berlin, who trades with illegal weapons. He learns that a man from his own country was sent to Berlin to kill. He and his wife are the target of not only the North Korean assassin but different people. They will try to get out of Berlin alive.
