Rain May Be Ha Ji Won's Next Leading Man

Ha Ji Won has acted with a long list of k-drama's most attractive male stars.  And now the 36-year-old actress may add Rain to the list. Both actors are considering leading roles in the SBS drama "The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days."

Many actors have expressed an interest in working with Ha Ji Won. She is known to be very supportive of her co-stars and a good team player on set. A few actors have even described her as their ideal type.

When he was only 19 Jang Geun Suk acted with Ha Ji Won in "Hwang Jini" and admitted that he had a crush on her. She was romanced by Jo In Sung and So Ji Sub in "What Happened in Bali" She swapped bodies with Hyun Bin's character in "Secret Garden" and got Ji Chang Wook's Emperor Tae Hwan to make her his consort in "Empress Ki."

In an interview with Singapore's media outlet Today, the actress spoke about the fact that she has acted with so many handsome men.

"To be honest, when I was young, I didn't know that the actors I was working with were good looking until a lot of people around me told me that I was really lucky to be working with a lot of handsome actors," she said. "But now I definitely know my onscreen partners are good looking."

If singer-actor Rain does decide to take the role, it won't be the first time that the two acted together. They appeared in a 2008 music video "Love Story."

"The Time I Loved You, 7,000 Days" is based on a popular Taiwanese drama "In Time With You." It's about the places where love and friendship overlap and can hamper each other.

In the drama, Rain plays a man who is popular with women but can't find the right woman to fall in love with. Ha Ji Won plays his best friend. She's the real reason he can't find love but neither of them can admit as much.

Ha Ji Won was last seen in the successful 51-episode historical drama "Empress Ki" with Ji Chang Wook and Jo Jin Moo. Her last films were "Chronicle of a Blood Merchant" and "The Huntresses."

Rain has appeared in one k-drama since finishing his mandatory military duty. He played an entertainment company CEO in "My Lovely Girl." In that drama his co-star was f(x) member Krystal Jung. he did take a role in the Chinese drama "Diamond Lover."

Rain was also considering a role in the Hong Sisters drama now titled "Warm and Cozy," which would mean possibly co-starring with Kang So Ra. Lee Jin Wook was also rumored to be up a role in "The Time I Loved You, 7,000 Days," possibly the second lead.
